Press Release for Ray's Cafe

The summer of 2019, I interned for Evado PR. One of my assignments included writing a press release promoting the January Shellfest event at Ray's Cafe, including menu items and dates.

Zeta's Social Media

For six weeks, I worked as a social media intern for Zeta, a startup focusing on helping couples better manage their money together. The main platform I worked on was their Instagram page. You can see a section of the feed when I was in charge and a specific post and caption. I used Canva for editing the posts and Buffer for planning them out.

Social Media Posts for Shiro's Sushi

With my internship for Evado PR, I spent most of my time working on the social media posts for one of their clients, Shiro's Sushi.

Zeta's Money Date Magazine Article

Zeta's website features The Money Date Magazine, where they post articles about topics relationship tips, how to manage money better as a couple, and saving for kids. Towards the end of my internship, I wrote an article entitled "8 Power Couples Share Their Best Relationship Advice" discussing celebrity couples.

Blogs for Female Founders Alliance

This past Summer, I was a part of the first internship cohort for the Female Founders Alliance, a company providing support and community for female founders. I worked part-time as a marketing intern for them. A large part of my work focused on their blog page, including posting features about investors and founders along with information about our cohort program.

Strategic Communications Plan for Cupcake Royale

We were asked for a strategic communications class to write up a mock strategic communications plan for Cupcake Royale, a local cupcake chain. We were asked to include situational analysis, audience analysis, measurable objectives, strategy, tactics, timeline & benchmarks, and an evaluation.

This was my final project for our department's capstone class. We were given a lot of freedom with our project. The only requirement was that we spent about 150 hours working on it. I decided to do a project that culminated the work I have done as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator for the Communication Department at my school. I created a handbook for the person who takes over after me in order to ease the tradition and create a document that synthesizes the work of the position.

Business Plan for Career Engagement

For a class on multimedia entrepreneurship, we were asked to write up a business plan for a new media venture, either within an existing organization or as a startup. We were supposed to outline our business idea, audience, market analysis and competition. I decided to write up a plan about a blog for my university's career engagement office.

Event Planning

Throughout my time as the Alumni Engagement Coordinator for the Communication Department at Seattle University, I've had the privilege of planning a number of events for students and alumni. Below are some examples of the promotional materials I used for the events that were shared over social media and email.
